What sets a forged door apart
Forged, not filled
Seams are welded and ground with no body filler, so the door stays one rigid piece and never telegraphs a crack down the line.
12-gauge steel, 2 inch thick
A heavier gauge than most shops use, roughly 40 percent stronger than 14-gauge, set into a full 2 inch slab that will not flex or rattle.
Thermally broken
Closed-cell foam fills the door and jamb, with a thermal break option that stops the steel from carrying outside temperature indoors.
14-stage finish
Bare steel is sandblasted, primed with zinc, coated in baked epoxy and hand-patinated, then sealed so the color holds for years.

An entrance that pays you back
A wrought iron door is the rare upgrade that improves security, comfort and resale at once. A fully welded 12-gauge steel leaf with a multipoint lock is far harder to force than a hollow or filled door, and it does not warp, rot or delaminate the way wood and fiberglass can.
Insulated tempered glass and a thermal break keep the entry comfortable through summer heat and winter cold, cutting the drafts a builder-grade door lets in. Because the door is built once and built well, it can outlast several ordinary doors, which is why appraisers and buyers treat a true iron entry as a lasting feature rather than a finish to replace.

Do you ship nationwide?
Yes. Every door is crated on a welded iron skid and delivered by freight with a liftgate anywhere in the continental United States. We are based in Santa Barbara and ship internationally by quote.
Do you install the door?
We deliver a pre-hung door in its jamb, ready for a competent finish carpenter or installer. We hand off to your contractor with a fitting guide, and we can recommend installers in some regions.
How long does a door take?
Most commissions ship in 10 to 14 weeks from approved drawings, depending on size, glass and finish. Rush timelines are sometimes possible and are confirmed in your quote.
What sizes can you build?
We build to your rough opening. Single doors run up to 48 by 120 inches and double doors up to 108 by 140 inches, with sidelites and transoms added to suit wider or taller openings.
What is included in the price?
A quote covers the forged and finished door, insulated tempered glass, a pre-hung jamb, standard boring, weatherstripping and a deadbolt. Crating and freight are itemized separately.
