On the day
A good installation starts before the door arrives. The rough opening is cleaned and checked for square, the subfloor is solid under the threshold, and the crew has two or three people, a pallet jack and the right sealant on hand. Because our doors ship pre-hung in their jamb, the set is faster and more accurate than building a frame on site.
The jamb is shimmed plumb and level behind the hinges and strike, the reveals are checked, then the perimeter is foamed and sealed and the hardware adjusted until the door swings and latches cleanly. Crate inspection at delivery, photographed before signing, keeps any freight claim simple.
